PRIVACY
POLICY

Last updated: August 27, 2026

Bayshore Athletic Club ("we", "us") operates bayshoreac.com. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

What we collect

We only collect information you give us directly. When you submit a day-pass request, membership enquiry, or contact form, or when you send a message through the chat assistant on this site, we collect the name, email address, and phone number you enter, along with what you told us you were interested in. We also record basic, non-identifying page-visit counts so we can see which pages people find useful.

Why we collect it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, send you the day pass or information you requested, follow up about that enquiry, and — if you become a member — invite you to leave a review. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell it.

Text messages and your mobile number

If you provide a mobile number and consent to messaging, we may text you about your enquiry. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP, or reply HELP for assistance. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for full details.

No mobile information will be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the club's communications, and only so they can perform that work for us. Those providers currently include The Switchboard Company (Switchboard OS), which manages our enquiry follow-up, along with the email and text-messaging services it uses to deliver messages. We may also disclose information where required by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to serve you and to keep accurate business records. You may ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@bayshoreac.net or calling 781-356-5303. To stop text messages specifically, reply STOP to any message.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information through it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
